RAND Texas Employment and Unemployment Statistics

In 2003, a new series based on NAICS codes was adopted by the Office of Management and Budget. The construction and wholesale trade industries are substantially changed, but the revisions also modify a number of retail classifications and recognize important changes in the information sector.

Please note that city and county summary data only goes back to 1995. For data prior to 1995 please see archived employment data based on SIC codes.

RAND Texas Employment and Unemployment contains industry employment and unemployment statistics for Texas, Texas regions and MSAs, counties, and cities. With the exception of Texas statewide employment statistics (which are provided as seasonally adjusted and not seasonally adjusted), all statistics are not adjusted for seasonal employment variations. Please note that monthly updates may also contain updated data for prior months. The source is the Texas Workforce Commission.
