RAND Texas Taxable Sales Statistics

RAND Texas Taxable Sales Statistics reports the number of outlets, sales tax collected, and other categories for Texas and all counties. As of 2002, The Texas State Comptroller implemented the NAICS coding system which moved eating and drinking establishments out of Retail Trade and into Accommodations and Food Services; therefore, Retail Trade data up through 2001 cannot be accurately compared with data from 2002 on. See archive for 1984-2001 data.

The source for these data, which is the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. The Comptroller sometimes revises data from prior quarters.
