To Search for Statistics:
- From our
Home Page or directly below, enter statistics categories, variables,
or geographic areas to search.
Your search is not case sensitive.
You can use the booleans 'and' and 'or' to perform simple boolean
searches on two terms, e.g.: economics and inflation. If you enter multiple
words without 'and' or 'or', the search is performed as if you typed
'and' between each word.
For advanced searchers, we don't support phrase searching, nesting, or truncation.
Example 1: population race
Use "or" to expand your search to databases
that contain only one of your keywords, e.g., population or race.
Example 2: Expand to include a geographic area, e.g., population galveston. Because
of the struture of some statistics on our site, you
will generally receive better results if you focus on statistics categories rather than on
geographic areas.
